Student Project TWO

This Week’s Student Assignment!

Our next Student Project is to create a TEXTURE focused design, beginning with a Structure built specifically showcase the Textures in your Design. Like our first assignment, texture will be designed using either…

  1. Natural Botanical Textures

  2. Hybrid Mix of Texture

You will be asked to answer a series of questions in the submission form. You will be asked to provide a photo of both your initial structure built, as well as your materials used in the texture bridge OR extraction. You will also be asked to identify your design as a Texture BRIDGE (or) EXTRACTION, and to list and identify your materials used & provide a word to describe each of the textures in the design.

Also, please note the following details pertaining to this week’s project submissions:

  1. A Maximum of 4 Design Images per Submission PLUS (1) Image showing/explaining the texture bridge or extraction of your design materials and (1) Image showing your initial structure built

  2. Only Submit for (1) Student Review Session, the one you’d like to attend (Submission Forms links will be available shortly, further down the page)

  3. Make sure to Submit before the deadline, (6) Hours prior to each Review Session.

Submit your designs for this week’s assignment via each of the Buttons below. Upon submission you will be registered for the appropriate Zoom Meeting as well. If you would like to attend and watch the other session, do not worry, Meeting Links will also be provided later in the week as well!

Looking for the Late Submissions Form?

We are now taking Late Submission for Student Project One!! Submissions close on Sunday, February 19th. You should expect a written response and critique of your Student Project from Hitomi & Per within 7-10 days of the conclusion of the Texture program.
