Per’s Design Review

LECTURE ONE DESIGN #1
Playfull colourful bouquet (hybrid mixed textures)

Handmade chickenwire structure(made as described before)

Then spray painted in colour matching the yarn.

Yarn is only worked on the top side of the structure using the wire ends to hook on to.

These wire ends need later be covered with stems, berries or something.

Flowers and foliage are worked in mainly one at a time, but always leaving one behind for a maybe needed corresponding placement later on.

Leave space in between the flower heads, both to show the structure and to give room for accent details later on.

Finish of the bouquet with these details and repeat some of the yarn on top also.

Try to find as many different textural materials as possible following the guideline from my explanation.

These wire ends need later be covered with stems, berries or something.

MENTOR SESSION DESIGN #1
Playfull colourful bouquet (hybrid mixed textures)

Handmade chickenwire structure(made as described before)

Then spray painted in colour matching the raffia

Raffia is first and last worked on the top side of the structure using the wire ends to hook on to.

Once some lines are in place simply put a mix onto that you both wear and suspend on the structure. Leave it volumus and open.

Flowers and foliage are worked in mainly one at a time, but always leaving one behind for a maybe needed corresponding placement later on.

Leave space in between the flower heads, both to show the structure and to give room for accent details later on.

Finish of the bouquet with these details and repeat some of the raffia on top also.

I have mainly woven in the textural lines in-between the raffia.
