This Week’s Student Assignment!

For your Second Student Project, choose (1) assignment from either Per or Hitomi.
Hitomi’s Assignment:
Build a well-crafted structure to support your linear concept, identify the static lines used.
Bonus Requirement: Craft a yarn covered wire vine and practice shaping with Hand of Nature – produce a sample from this exercise.
You will be asked to answer the following questions if you choose Hitomi’s Assignment
Identify the dynamic lines used.
Which are your 3 most effective lines? in order from 1 to 3.
Per’s Assignment:
Create one of the following:
Fan shaped bouquet with both vertical and horizontal line play
Find as many caracters/ emotions on lines as possible
Create one direction as the dominant one
Do create possibility for the eye to travel over the shape but decide one main area.
Crossed stemed arrangement
Work stems in a crossed parallell matter to creat volume.
Find as many caracters/ emotions on lines as possible
Do work flowerheads and possible horizontal lines in more or less one hight.
You will be asked to answer the following questions if you choose Per’s Assignment
Which direction of lines is the dominant?
Which caracter/ emotion of line is the dominant?
How many different lines did you manage to incorporate into your design?
Also, please note the following details pertaining to this week’s project submissions:
A Maximum of 5 Design Images per Submission
Only Submit for (1) Student Review Session, the one you’d like to attend (Submission Forms further down the page)
Make sure to Submit before the deadline, (8) Hours prior to each Review Session.
