Our First Student Assignment focuses on creating an Arrangement (or) Decoration using EXTRACTION or BRIDGING.

For Maximal understanding and learning in the review session, the following information/checklist should be considered and is included in this week’s submission forms:

1. Be able to distinctly explain your ‘Starting Material’ in the case of EXTRACTION and ‘Starting Materials’ in the case of BRIDGING. Be able to identify these elements in your submission

2. Include a photo in your submission that explains your gradation of materials used.

3. Be able to share the Dominant Colour in your final design

4. Be able to distinguish the Dominance between the following categories:

   • Warm vs. Cold

   • Shiny vs. Matte

   • Dark vs. Light

   • Pure/Clean vs. Dirty/Earthy

   • Strong vs. Weak/Pastel

   • Clear vs. Dusty

Also, please note the following details pertaining to this week’s assignment submissions:

1. A Maximum of 4 Design Images per Submission PLUS one Image showing your colour gradation (One Design Only)

2. Only Submit for (1) Student Review Session, the one you’d like to attend (Submission Forms further down the page)

3. Make sure to Submit before the deadline, Monday April 18th at 10:00PM PDT.
