On Day 3, we step back in time to explore the roots of sustainable floral design. In this hands-on session, Per, Max, and Hitomi guide participants through forgotten techniques, natural materials, and historic approaches that shaped floral culture from ancient civilizations through the Renaissance. Using compostable and reusable materials, students will recreate timeless methods such as garlanding, wreath-making, and hand-tied arrangements—laying the foundation for more thoughtful, environmentally conscious practices.

  • April 10th, 2026

On Day 4, we shift our focus to translating historical inspiration into contemporary floral aesthetics. Through guided design exercises, Per, Max, and Hitomi will help participants explore form, balance, and composition using natural materials and refined techniques. Drawing from periods like Baroque, Art Nouveau, and Modernism, students will reinterpret classic styles with a modern, sustainable approach—blending past and present into expressive, eco-conscious floral art.

On Day 5, we look ahead to the future of floral design through the lens of sustainability and innovation. Per, Max, and Hitomi guide participants in creating impactful & sustainable designs that minimize waste and support practical, eco-conscious solutions. With an emphasis on scalability and intention, students will explore how mindful techniques can elevate both artistry and environmental responsibility. We’ll conclude the day with a celebratory group dinner to reflect and connect.
